Missing Westie in Florida Vote for this post

I'm crossposting from FaceBook.  I hope this little fellow is home soon.

Hi everyone. I have awful news. Emerson is not accustomed to a leash, got off his leash and has no tags on him. He ran away and I couldn't catch him. His microchip is not registered and I have that # 985112003298227. If you see a 3 yo white West Highland Terrier please contact the Delray Police who will put them in contact with me or me of course 561-573-7222. Needless to say I'm in tears. Please share this in Delray, Boca, Boynton Beach, and anywhere surrounding military and Atlantic which is where I live. You can also contact Sunshine State Westie Rescue if you have any info.

How terrible I hope he will be found  so he can return to his family. This is so sad and we hope who ever finds him will do the right thing.
Will keep him in my prayers. It is a nightmare for the owner

Thanks Deb and Yoka for your replies, obviously I meant for this to be in the General Forum.  Yoka, can you please spread the word down there.  I feel for this lady – the terror and guilt she must be going through.

First rule of Westies – chase them and the GAME will be on!  Not easy to sit quietly and talk to them at the time panic sets in.
