Dewey update
I went to Dewey and found that the westie had already been adopted. He was an owner turn in so he was available right away. When I checked on him at the desk they said he was adopted within an hour of being put in the kennel and that they didn't even have a chance to call me. He was a mix but mostly westie. I hope he got a good home. The other good thing I found was that half the kennels were empty.You could have knocked me over.This is never the case. A local TV station did a story last night about the mass dumping of dogs this summer. They told how over 350 dogs are put down each week.They were packed today.Over 150 ALTERED dogs found new homes today.I also had one of my rescues go to a new home this morning. You will like this one. Pics and info to come. Today was a good day for rescue.
