Update on Christy
Christy has been to the vet and the report is that she is in pretty good health. So, that's really good news. We didn't know what the prednisone might have done to her liver and kidneys.
We have started stepping her down off the prednisone. With good luck, we will have her off in a month. In a couple of weeks, we will start adding in valium to keep the White Shaker syndrome at bay.
So far, so good.

That is great news...I sure hope that she tolerates the back off well.
Somehow I don't recall the herb they use to detox patients when they have drug withdrawal, I will keep looking in my notes. It may be worth adding it since it is herbal base and the body accepts it well.
Bless her for all she has endured.
