This is his 3rd and his Last home!!!! He is the largest Westie we have ever met....He can stand on his hind legs and put his nose on the kitchen table!!!! The couple who adopted him has lots of Westie/terrier experience and Jake now has a Carin sister, named Sadie. Monday, was Jake's happy adoption day!!!! He weighs 28 lbs. He loves to run and play...and also snuggle alot. Jake first came from Flordia...and moved with his owner to K.C. His owner was leaving for China to be a missionary and adopted him to a family who had a Scottie. The two males did not like each other very well, & during the holidays the family had two toddlers staying with them....Jake nipped a two year old who was not treating him very well. The family is expecting a baby and called for rescue help. We brought Jake into WRM & had a wonderful applicant with Lots of Westie experience. His new family just Adores him...and after a week, his Carin sister, Sadie thinks he is great to do Zoomies with in their Big fenced yard. My moma's last Westie was 26lbs. and not fat....she really wanted me to be little like my schnauzer sister who's only 13lbs. All we did was the home visit in Omaha for a wonderful young family who will love and spoil him!!! River was adopted last Wednesday when Megan and her mother drove to meet foster Mom, Beith for the adoption!!! River is a little guy...Weighs a little over 10 lbs.!!!
