Cairn from Idaho
From his foster mom....
Remember Bridger, my scared little foster from a Boise, ID shelter who was deemed unadoptable? Well - ta da - he went to his forever home yesterday only three short weeks after coming to me as a terrified little boy. His new mommy and daddy are hopelessly in love with him and thanked and thanked me for letting them adopt him. (Did someone tell them I hate letting go of my fosters????) They had been approved for a while and were waiting for just the right baby, they saw Bridger's scared picture and that was it - they knew he had to be their baby. They are keeping his name Bridger and he will have a fur sister named Seiko. Seiko is an adorable little mix - she looks like cairn and rough coated JRT. Anyway, I was fretting all day, wondering how it would be when they got Bridge home. Well, they called and said "listen to this" and it was Bridger squeaking and squeaking his new toy. He was following his mommy everywhere and let his daddy pick him up without running and had done all his potty business outside. You know that news made me cry. Here it is - ANOTHER MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN Bridger's mom told me that his daddy got tears in his eyes on the way home because they were so thrilled to have their new boy. Thank you Col. Potter's for another little soul that is high cotton.

Re: Cairn from Idaho
We enjoyed reading this! We are so happy for Bridger and his new family. We adopted Willie 1 1/2 years ago and still visit with his foster mom. We not only got a wonderfully sweet cairn rescue but made new friends in the process. Thanks for sharing Bridgers story.
