Christmas has a RIDE!
Well, I just heard from Kris about the transport for Christmas (the dog in the post below... from Sikeston, MO), that she and I were working on...
Another rescue group is transporting a Fox Terrier in that same direction... they will be picking up Christmas and giving her a ride all of the way to Des Moines!! Christmas will be delivered to Kris! Woo-hoo!

OT - I read on another board about someone asking why the TC was never mentioned (actually I originally found the TC on that board when someone wanted votes for their furkid), and someone wrote that he did not like the way that some people posted in "doggy talk" and that the TC was not really helpful. He should read some of the posts and realize the help and support that TC members give regarding illnesses, and the way that members band together and are able to achieve transport, rescue and the support that is given on this board.

Yes it is wonderful. Some how another rescue perosn in Rockford IL found a transport for a Fox Terrier group in Waterloo IA that is coming through Des Moines on Saturday. Then she found someone else to go to Sikeston to get her. So Christams should be here about 10 am Saturday morning. We are very excited and grateful.
