How are you all doing?
We hope all our friends here are doing alright ,the corona virus affects all of us..we are 2 weeks behind Italy here they say....I watch the headlines and news briefly in the morning and then evening to see updates and if I need to get any groceries do not go far ..no more than 4 miles and also stocked up with food for the doggies as Andrew has his Light food as well from the vets.I am wearing disposable gloves and then smearing vaseline in my nostrils and lips and wearing a good face mask when I do go to the shop...I know a lot say the masks will not do much or even anything but its better than none I feel...at the moment I feel fine but like us all who knows from Day to day but I am keeping a positive attitude and of course the dogs pick up on us if we worry and get stressed...it must be so hard for people who have to isolate and not good on their own....I am lucky to enjoy my own company and that I can potter and do many things even for amusement and have the puppers for company when Peter is away..If anyone gets lonely Please feel free to PM oer email me for a chat.Biba's Spay operation was called off ,I did phone and check but thought they would cancel anyway..the vet did ask me if it was a problem if she comes into season again in May but it will not be and better for all to stay safe.I can still work on my own at the Big House as just me there and also the holiday cottage has all been called off but I can do various jobs there as isolated and in the garden .We are very lucky to be able to go straight outside in the morning and be isolated from anyone with own garden and private grounds also of the large house I work at and the big field ..we will not be taking the dogs anywhere in the car for trips at all,Peter is back on Friday night for 9 days off as he was going to help after Biba's surgery but he will still take the time off.his job is classed as essential as providing the feed for the farm animals. On a positive side we have had glorious sunshine for 4 days and the puppers have loved lounging around in the garden and Sunbathing!! ..but this weekend they have forecast wintry weather and very very cold ..I have taken more time from work as no rush now and to be able to let them enjoy the nice weather after all that rain and flooding...Much Love to everyone and will be here each day and get some more pictures on the go...we will get through this all of us and we put our TC Prayers together.Love and kisses from Annie Peter Andrew Biba and wee Stig the kitty. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Re: How are you all doing?
So glad you are alright over there Annie! We just heard on the TV that Prince Charles has been diagnosed with the virus and our first lady has been tested today. We have our first case of the virus in our county but suspect there are more because people are not getting tested. I've been working from home trying to arrange email interviews and such so I don't have to go out. Our governor has asked us to stay home as much as we can and the only place I've been this week is to the grocery store where there are still so many empty shelves....Like you, Gary and I are not ones who have to be on the go all the time and we have plenty to keep us busy at home. Emmie and the kitties seem to sense when I worry so I try not to let them see me. If I have watched too many of the updates on TV and feel nervous, I go out in the garden and watch the birds for a time. They seem to calm me--I call them my "Bird Therapy". Gary takes a walk or two every day when it's fit and I have loads to do if I'm so inclined. I have been reaching out to people--calling them on the phone to see if they need anything. Even if I can't visit, I can at least drop off supplies to their front porch so they can retrieve them later. I'm having trouble with my one eye and I'm wondering if it's because I spend so much time at the computer. I'll have to wait till this is over to get it checked since the eye doctors and dentists have all closed their offices. We are all in this together and we'll all get through it together. Keeping everyone in my prayers. Take care and stay safe.Love, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

Re: How are you all doing?
I am glad to hear everyone is doing okay with all that is going on around the world right now. Sounds like all the furkids are faring well. I am happy to hear it! We are north of Lincoln about 70 miles or so and have no cases in our county or any of the neighboring counties either. My husband goes to work each day since his job is considered essential. I haven't worked outside the home for a few years now so I am glad I can stay here and take care of things that need to be done. We are staying close to home, only doing grocery shopping. Church is now viewed online on Sunday's for the foreseeable future. Our home is in the country, in a subdivision and we are all fairly spread apart so we don't really come in contact with anyone around the house. I hope everyone will stay healthy and safe! Love all the photos that everyone posts! Not having a furkid right now is hard but there will be time down the road to remedy that. So please hug your kids for me! πΆπ

Re: How are you all doing?
Glad to hear that you are all coping with this crazy thing.
We do a lot of small shopping since some stores open earlier for us seniors and we are all grateful.
Hard to believe we are all shut down and have to stay in.
We go for walks when the weather permits and started to deep clean our house.
We are both retired so thank god we can survive.
Keep a positive attitude and hopefully we will all get
through this.
Love Allen and Donna

Re: How are you all doing?
We are in New York State which is very hard hit, mostly downstate, but we do have one case in our county. We are glad to live in the country with no neighbors very near. We are sad that our local YMCA is closed and may not open again. We were enjoying swimming there several times a week to help keep fit and to lessen stress. I don't go ANYWHERE. Trip has been doing the grocery shopping and he tries very hard to limit what he touches. You know those little wipes at the entry to the grocery store. Use them when you go in and then don't forget to get one on the way out, too. (We never used to but it's a good idea). I am trying hard to keep my spirits up. It's hard sometimes. Our son and his family are supposed to move to Virginia. DIL is already there, working remotely at a university and staying in an AirBNB. Son and grandson still in NY. Son is working from home, single-parenting his son, keeping house, trying to get the house ready to sell but it can't be listed. (Real estate agents who show houses are subject to a $2,000 fine.). He's stretched to the limit and we wish we could help, but since we are all self-isolating, that's not an option. Rookie is still getting his walks and outdoor time, but I know he's sensing our worry as he is pretty subdued. But we are trying to keep our spirits up. I hope you ALL stay well!

Re: How are you all doing?
We are doing well here in Crystal River Florida. We have 4 documented cases so far here. I am staying home except to go to the grocery store and to walk the boys. I have done lots of much needed house cleaning. Everyone be careful and take care. Louise, Caesar, Judah, and Angel Murphy

Re: How are you all doing?
We are doing ok here. Staying at home except for walking Grady Went to the store for the first time in two weeks yesterday. You know hoarding is bad when they have 3 store clerks watching the paper goods lane assuring that each costumer only picks up one package of TP. .I'm so glad they are doing that. It's been over 2 months that I even got a package so I was glad to see they are controlling the greed. Many of the store shelves were empty of household cleaners and many items in the pharmacy section.Be safe everyone, We sure pray that this pandemic will be under control with some medical break through in the very soon future. Hugs Sandra & Grady xox

Re: How are you all doing?
We are still working at this stage but there has been rumours stage 3 might be coming. I still feel a lot of people here in Australia are not taking it seriously enough too many cars on the roads, they had to close a beach as people weren't staying home or doing social distancing. I go to work come home, had to buy a few groceries on the way home but haven't been there for a couple of weeks. No toilet paper, hand sanitiser or tissues, even water wipes are hard to get, it's just sheer greed by hoarders. Luckily I can take a few from work at this stage. It's an extremely unsettling time for everyone that's for sure. Real Estate agents can at this time take people thru for private viewings of houses for sale, my sister's went on the market just a few weeks before it all went pear shaped here.
