Our doggie visitor
We had my sister and family visiting last week. It's been over two years since they traveled this way so they haven't met Grady till now. Grady quickly was on the lap giving kisses and following my sister everywhere through the whole week. She welcomed all the attention from Grady. They have a little mixed breed male dog that is 10 years old. He has trouble with his joints and doesn't move quickly. Grady did barking circles around him which he was ok with until Grady decides to mount the poor boy in his excitement. With no worry who was watching he kept up the naughty deed. A few NOs and he stopped. But this action happened each time they parted for potty time outside. Mostly Grady was gentle and didn't do the wild zoomies that I worried he might do that would of upset Grover. All in all a good play time for both. And much needed interaction that Grady has missed out on since the pandemic has stopped meeting other dogs and people.

Our house is quiet again and Grady is missing his little buddy Grover. No more fun sparing dates and dances on the grass.

Thank you Riley and Presley Grady had a great time having a little buddy to play with. He did get a little depressed sulking in his favorite chair for two days after they left. He definitely misses all the people and not having Grover to play with.

Awwww... Judah I hope you get to visit your doggie friends soon for some walkies. It can really be a comfort to have another doggie to play with even if just a short time. Grover just lost his brother Scruffy from cancer 2 months ago. My sister noticed that Grover perked right up getting play time with Grady.

hehehe....Oh Bibs maybe I was getting too frisky and needs my girl to do zoomies with and then I could be a good boy Mommy says. Ah, dat are so nice dat you had a playmate...eben fer just a wee bit. Mommy says eberybody missin seein others during dis pandemic thing. Sounds like a good time was more than welcome in your house. It's been difficult for everyone since this pandemic hit and unfortunately we don't think about our pups missing out on companionship and playtime. I'm sure little Grady is missing that now your sister has gone. I'd suggest getting little Grady a new brother or sister...but sometimes it's not that easy having two dogs.

We have been giving it some thought Sandy. Grady would love to have a little buddy to play with but right now isn't a good time. The pandemic has our Vet office closed till mid June to July. I'll be glad to see all businesses reopen again soon.
