All in and settled Vote for this post

Good morning everyone.  First off I'd like to say to Louise how sorry I am to hear of Judah not doing well.  It's so difficult when our furbabies are not well.  Will keep you in my prayers.

Layla and I are finally in out new home and everything is unpacked and neatly in place.  Now helping my daughter organize her side but because it is so much larger, it can be challenging just keeping up with the daily cleaning and dusting.  Have hired a local handyman who is, by day, a lawn care specialist and he has started to work on the front of the house's garden as it hasn't seen a cleanup in a long time.  He will also be installing a backsplash in my kitchen and building an outside screened-in porch that will attach to my patio doors.  The neighbors are exceptionally nice and there is a party this Friday being held by my next door neighbor to which I am being invited and to welcome me to the neighborhood.  The only negative thing is the heat.  I'm not used to it being so hot - so have been spending time indoors as it's air conditioned.  That's a quick update for now.  Hope everyone is doing well and keeping safe and keeping furbabies cool in this latest heatwave.

Sandy and little Layla

So happy to hear that you're settling in Sandy! I'm sure it's quite an adjustment for all of you but being close to your daughter has to be a great comfort to you! Layla will love that screened in porch when you get it finished and isn't it great that you have nice neighbors? Keep us updated on how all the renovations are going.
Love to you and Layla, Deb, Emmie, and Angel Kelsie

It's a big job moving and you sound to be getting all settled in nicely into your new place. Hopefully all the jobs will be done soon and time to relax .
