Update on Judah
Yesterday we went back to the Veterinary Specialty Center for one week check up. All the incisions are healing well. Dr. Lee changed the dressing on Judah's right paw and it looks good. She redressed it. I expressed concern that Judah was not eating. I have tried everything and he will not eat anything he loved before. She put him on an appetite stimulate. He gets it once a day. He did eat some chicken and turkey burger a couple hours after that. Nothing for breakfast the next morning. I am worried. I feel like he is getting weaker. I keep praying thins get better soon. I am scared to death for him. It has been so hard. He goes back for a check you on Wednesday. Judah and I need prayers. Louise, Judah, and Angels Caesar & Murphy

Oh Louise, so very sorry to here hear that little Judah is not eating that is so much of a concern, hopeful the appetite stimulate will help hi,
I know how worried you are about him, this can't be easy for you and will keep both of you in thoughts and prayers.

Hope he feels better soon. When Kelsi was having appetite issues she was given a vitamin injection once a week and I bought a product we have here in Australia called Nutripet which included calories. I think I had to feed her KFC nuggets to get her appetite restarted not ideal but she had to eat something (she had pneumonia). Sadly her pneumonia took her from me not long afterwards.

Louise ,Thank you for the update and we are sending continued Prayers for Judah and that he will get his appetite back and get back on track with his eating..it must be so worrying and also what to try and give him...chicken is usually a good one though...I hope it is just that he has been upset over everything happening at the vets etc that has put him off his food for a few days...on a positive note his wounds are healing well which is so good to hear but I know your worry now over his not eating and to go forward one and back three so to speak....Big Prayers for you both and hope you can call the vet if he is still not eating before the wednesday visit...know we are here for you at TC.Big Hugs and give Judah a wee kiss from us all..Love Annie Biba and Andrew xxxxxxxxxxxx

Louise, the continuing prayers of TC members are with you and Judah. I remember after Kelsie's operation, she would not touch her regular food and turned away from chicken (which she dearly loved!) In desperation, we tried giving her hamburger and rice, even a bit of canned salmon and thankfully, it got her eating again so we could go back to her regular food. I think it was more stress from being away from us overnight and the pain meds that had her belly so upset she just didn't want to eat. Hopefully, Judah will begin eating again and gain strength. On a good note, his incisions are healing...a real plus! We continue to pray for Judah and keep both of you in thoughts and prayers. Take it one day at a time and know that we're here for you!
