Biba is staying overnight at Vets
This morning at 6.30 Biba was sick again...she has done this on and off for about 8 months..anywhere between 3 and 6.30 am ..she has got off the bed and vomited ..we have tried lots of things ie just small bedtime treat or not dried and a bit of wet meat...there was not a pattern though apart from always early in the morning and then just be as bright and yappy as normal and have her brekkie but today she did not pick up much at all and did not do her poopies as she would do first thing..by lunchtime she was no better so I got her into the vets at 4pm..her temperature was normal and no blockage to feel and the vet emptied her bowels which was not much but a wee bit more solid than usual..her heart rate was up and my vet said she was not happy about her so could I let them do bloodwork and put her on a iv to get fluids in which I was pleased she wanted to do and of course said Yes.I rang at 6pm and the vet said she was a wee bit brighter but would still like to keep her overnight and give her a wee bit of food and see if its kept down..if no better to get scanned tomorrow...it could be pancreatitis...we will have to wait and see how she is in the morning...I have to phone them at 9.30am so will update here also. I also told the vet how sometimes she loves to eat grass sometimes...none of the other cairns ever did that and we are thinking now that Biba has done it if she has got tummy pain ...Biba did a lot of stretching this morning but with her paws and head up on the sofa if this makes sense so I knew she was not going to chirp up as she would do usually.I am praying for positive news and take it from there and also talked with vet about getting her on Hills Biome food. Andrew wonders where his sissie is bless him....I will keep you all updated..it was a bit of a shock when I had to leave her there but know she is in safe hands and gave her a wee kiss. Hugs Annie Drew and Bibsy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Re: Biba is staying overnight at Vets
Oh Annie, it's always a worry when they don't feel well. It's good that you could get Bibs in to the vet and that they are taking such good care of her. Fingers crossed it's just a 24 hour bug she's picked up. Emmie has mornings where she won't eat and does that stretching bit you described but she doesn't throw up. On those mornings, she won't touch her breakfast but later in the day she is back to normal eating, thank heavens! We were used to feeding Kelsie several small meals during the day with a snack at night and we've kept that up with Emmie. So far, it's agreed with her most of the time. We are keeping dear Bibs in our prayers and hope she's bright as a penny tomorrow and back home with you and Drew. Bless his little heart, give him a big kiss from Emmie and me and tell him his sister will be home soon!Love, Deb, Emmie Sue and Angel Kelsie

Oh Annie....I was so sad to read your post about sweet Biba. Poor wee girl. I hope that the Vet gets more details on what may be happening . Always a worry when they are not feeling well and throwing up. I first thought of a blockage but good that the Vet has checked and ruled it out. Sending lots and lots of positive prayers and hope you get some answers tomorrow morning.Awwww...hugs to dear bro Andrew...missing his sis.

Re: Biba is staying overnight at Vets
Oh Annie so sorry to hear Biba is not feeling well. I am glad to hear your Vet is keeping an eye on her. My Judah started that way with morning vomiting and then it got a lot worst. Hope the blood work is normal. I will be saying a special prayer for her. Love Louise, and Angels Caesar, Judah, & Murphy
