Biba is back home
I picked Biba up this afternoon, she is still very subdued as she would be after all that has happened but has done a wee and poopie on her lead in the garden and had a weeny bit of something to eat..just small portion and drank a bit of water..she is lay on the carpet at the moment with Drew. I have some Pardale if she seems uncomfortable to give 1/4 of tablet..so far have not had to,she goes back to the vets first thing on Monday and any vomiting or problems I can ring over tomorrow and get her back...the vet said she was better to be back calm in her own surroundings which I have to agree...I will update again laterHugs Annie Drew and Bibsy...and Daddy who is back home. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Re: Biba is back home
Glad to hear that Biba is back home with you - we've been so worried about your little one. Give her a big (but gentle) hug for us.
Cairns (and Westies too) are just so crazy impulsive. They see everything as a potential meal so it's challenging for us to keep 'em from the "snatch and swallow it now, ask questions later" thing they do.

Re: Biba is back home
Such a good post to see this morning!! Welcome back home Miss Bibsy!! We sure are glad you are back with your family. So true that home is a more comforting place to recover. Annie thank you for updating us, I have been worried about sweet Bibsy!! While her stitches mend I am sure it will be a challenge to keep her calm and on a leash for her potty. Sending her lots of hugs and prayers as she heals.

Bibsy is pleased to be at home I am sure, and she has been carried out and done two widdies and a poopie which was all good...she did do one widdie in house but no problem at all,she has had a couple of very weeny meals and so far all good...I have taken the blue bandage off her paw where IV was put in so I think she is pleased about that also...I am going to keep her in the lounge tonight with the crate door open in case she wants to do a widdie in the night and kitchen door is open...Drew will sleep in the same room for company and nice and warm.Big Hugs to everyone and Love Annie Bibsy and Drew xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Re: Biba is back home
Biba is a bit brighter today, this morning I just checked for any oozing or swellings under her dressing as the vet had said to do but the dressing would not stick back down one end under her tummy so I have kept it in place by putting part of a cotton legging on..like a doggie boobie tube!..the wide end of the legging and that seems to work...she has done wee wee,s and also a poopie today which is good..we have to carry her in and out and she is in the lounge and Drew has been a good boy with her..she did actually pick up a toy ratty at one point...we take her back first thing tomorrow for her check up...she will sleep in the lounge and kitchen again with Drew...we have to turn the sofa to the bookcase so she cannot jump onto it.Hugs and kisses to all and thank you for all your kindness.Love Annie Bibs and Drew xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
