It was hectic and fun but wouldn't want to do it on a permanent basis. Working full-time I didn't get to walk them would have been pretty much impossible and I knew if I tried to split them into groups war would have broken out. Playing with each other wore them out. It was hard given that Ryley (the only boy) kept lifting his leg in the house towards the end it was only once or twice a day but still having to clean up each day was a pain. Challenging to feed 5 little mouths when they all wanted feeding at once. I took Mollie to the vet that week as she was licking her paws and the groomer thought she had an ear infection but no just lots of yeast in her nail beds (poor little lass) so she went on medication and paw baths. Then I took my 2 the following Saturday and Matilda had lots of yeast in her paws. I said to my sister when she came back she needed to take her 2 as they were at their paws, Ryley's paws were the colour of rust and sure enough both he and Tilly had lots of yeast in their paws and Tilly had an ear infection. I did miss seeing their 5 little faces each morning and when I got home from work.

Re: Diana
Sounds like so much fun. I've taken care of 5 westies and a cairn at one time and even though it has it's challenges it was so much fun having a big group and watching the interaction and play. Yes those little males can have an issue with lifting a leg sometimes. Sorry to learn that Mollie and the other girls got a bout of yeast. Hope it's cleared up soon. I had on going yeast issues with my Maddie so I know it's a lot to keep up with the foot soaks and watching to keep it in check.
