Meet Kinzie!!!!!!
Hi everyone I would like you all to meet my new baby! Her name is Kinzie!!! I just adopted her from St. Louis Scottish Terrier Rescue. She is 10 years old and very sweet. Her previous owner had severe dementia and could no longer take care of her or herself. She is 10 years young and gets along well her new doggie neighbors. I have been looking to adopt for several months. Rescues in Florida either don't have dogs and in many cases aren't taking any more applications and have a 2 year waiting list to adopt. StLSTR is the rescue where I adopted my Angels Judah & Murphy. I have been looking for a Westie Scottie or Cairn. When I saw Kinzie I fell in love with her! My stepson helped me bring Kinzie home. I flew in to Louisville, KY, they picked me up and brought meet their home and the next day my stepson Chuck & I drove me 1/2 way up to St. Louis to meet up with my friends at St.LSTR and adopt Kinzie. My family drove me back to Florida in a few days with Kinzie and spent a few days vacationing in Florida before heading back home. I am so grateful to them!!!! I have asked Mark to post my pictures of Kinzie for me. For some reason my computer no longer has the right format for me to post pictures on the Terrier Club. Very frustrating!! Oh Louise we are beyond happy for you! We've been wondering if you would adopt another dog and here you are...proud Mom to Kinzie!! We can't wait to see the pics, we know she's lovely without even seeing them! I'm sure your Angels are looking down and so very happy that you're welcoming another dog into the family! Congratulations so happy for you. So is she a Westie? Looking forward to seeing her pics and hearing all about her. Very rare here to find a Westie, Cairn or Scottie in rescue so you are very lucky.

It is very hard here to find a Westie, Cairn or Scottie here in Florida. Our local Westie rescue hardly ever gets any Westies. I have been following every day on Col. Potter's Cairn rescue. They were not taking anymore applications except for a handful of dogs on their "Most Wanted list." Found a sweet Cairn I was interested in but for some reason all of a sudden they moved him from ready for adopt to not ready to adopt so I never put in application for him. Then I fell in love with Kenzie and was able to adopt her! After I adopted her Col. Potter changed their method of accepting adoption applications. Maybe down the road I will adopt a brother or sister for Kenzie. St.LSTR is just awesome. They do pick up Cairns & Westies along with their Scotties. I feel so lucky to have Kenzie.

Oh Louise, congrats on adoption Kinzie, can't wait to see her picture. I am sure that Judah and Murphy had a hand in finding her.
she will have a wonderful home with you. enjoy her.

Yaaay Yaaay Yaaaay!!!...Oh Louise just the news we have longed to hear and How Ceasar Murphy and Judah will be doing the yappy dance and watching over you both..we are so delighted to hear this and so happy for you,after all the heartache you have been through and for Kinzie losing her mummy to dementia.A Big Thank you to your family for this also in helping you...we just have to give the first picture of Kinzie POW..she is beautiful and we are tingling here reading this news...we hope to see more pictures and news of how you are both doing when you can but we know all about the computer picture issues after our problems...Thank you sooo much for posting this and see you soon again here...we are overjoyed...Much Love hugs and kisses and a Big Kiss for Kinzie and Welcome... Congratulations to you Louise and Kinzie!! How excited I was seeing your post and scolling down to see this adorable scottie lady...what a sweetheart she looks to be. I'm thrilled for you Louise that your arms have a darling girl to hold and lots of fun to come each day. Sounds like you had a fun gathering with family and so good that they helped with getting you and Kinzie back to Florida. Hope to hear more about Kinzie as she gets settled in to her new forever home with you.
