We have some news
We have some exciting news to share. In just under 2 weeks' time, I will be collecting Izabella's little sister a brindle Cairn Terrier and bringing her home with us. I know Matilda would approve. The lovely breeder is going to send me photos of her next week so will share them when I get the chance.

Yes Grady is Brindle. His breeder classed him as a dark red Brindle. I notice Grady getting a darker coat color this year. Here is a link to good information on the cairn coat colors.

Thank you. It will be great for Izzy to have a little buddy to play with again. It is happening a little earlier than I thought it would. I have mixed feelings as I didn't think we would be at the puppy stage again so soon and no dog could ever replace my Matilda. As for a name I have a couple of ideas but nothing definite, I know I'd like a short name.

The chart was an interesting read had no idea there were so many shades of brindle. One of my Westies friends has a Cairn he is black as black and just so gorgeous. I am hoping my girl is on the darker side after having little white Westies for so many years. Will post some pics when she sends them.
