I just wanted all of your to know that I made the heart aching decision to send Presley to the bridge. I just got back from the vet. We made the decision together. felt it was best or him. she said the reason for all of the bleeding when he peed was that the cancer had taken over and there wasn't anything she could do. I am very sad right now, but I know in my heart I made the right decision and that presley is at the bridge with buster and robin, and having a great time.
having Ollie is a blessing right now, I know that he can't replace presley, but he can ease the pain of losing him a little.

Sandi,It breaks my heart to read this but nothing compared to how you must be feeling tonight,we have all been through this decision many times and through tears all I can say is that you have made the right decision...it reminds me of Dear Nimby when I took her...Presley was loved and cared for so much and this is just the act of love that he deserves...to be set free and out of pain ...God Bless you for doing that......Ollie will never replace Presley as you say but he will now support you and give you his love and the love that Presley would always want for you.Take care of yourself and please know we are thinking of you and we are here if you need us. and we send soft warm kisses to Presley over the Bridge..now zooming with Buster and Robin. Oh Sandi, I was so hoping that it wouldn't come to this but your love for Presley led you to making the right decision for all of you. He is now at RB with Buster and Robin and I'm sure they are all looking down on you and Ollie and hoping that the good memories you have will help ease the pain. So many of us are where you are now and know how heartbreaking it is but we also know that with time, the pain lessons and we remember the good times with a smile instead of tears. Dear Sandi I'm so sorry your brave boy that fought hard has gone.I have tears for you both. So many of us here know how heart crushing it is to make the hard choice to send our little babies to the bridge. Our heart knows when that time comes and sometimes our fur baby tells us in their eyes.God speed little Presley you will be very missed!! Sandi, I am so sorry about Presley going to the Bridge 😢 You and Presley were in my prayers every night. This is never easy to have to decide but you didn't want further suffering even though it breaks your heart into bits. He and the others will be together and be free again of everything that was painful, etc.
What a great life he lived with you all these years. He gave you much joy and you gave him shelter, sustenance and every thing that he could have ever needed or wanted. He was a blessing to you each and every day.
Run free, Presley. Know you will be missed every day. I am sure Ollie is such a source of comfort now. Thank goodness he is with you! Hugs Sandi!

I'm so sorry you had to let Presley go. You gave him the best year and a half he could hope for and he gave you the gift of accepting Ollie into your life so you won't be alone. I know you and Ollie will miss Presley and I'm glad Ollie is there to help you.

Yes it is a very hard decision to make but as you said you did the right thing and he is now at peace. So glad you have Ollie to keep you company and no he's not a replacement he's a comfort.

I was so heartbroken to hear you lost your precious Presley. It is such a hard decision to make. Presley was such a special boy and he will be missed and always loved.
