Re: Izabella & Sadie update
Nothing much new with us. Coming up to the end of my 3 weeks holiday. It is winter but we've had some reasonable days and some sunshine. Sadie will be 8 months old soon, she had her spay surgery early July. I opted for a laparoscopic spay which involves removing the ovaries. It had a few benefits it was done thru two small incisions only dissolvable internal stitches, quicker recovery time (5 days confinement instead of 10) and no walks for 7 days (instead of 14). It was of course more expensive and we had to use a different vet for the procedure which meant an early start to our day we left home @ 6.15am and dropped Sadie off @ 7.30am we picked her up at 2pm. She of course bounced back quickly and hated being confined and she was very vocal about that. I think Izzy enjoyed her quiet time as you can see from the photo of her laying on my bed. She did have to be on antibiotics for a few days (a week after her surgery she saw our vet and she recommended putting her on them) as one of the wounds underneath was a little red but all looks good now. Izzy has had a few bacterial skin flare ups - muzzle and paws and a sore eye she has been on antibiotics for a week and is just about finished. We have been for a few long walks and some days we've missed a walk or two due to the weather. We went for a walk around the lake this morning Sadie loved all the birds, swans and ducks.

Loved reading your update this morning! The girls look great and so glad that Sadie bounced back from her surgery so quickly! (I imagine it was quite a feat keeping her from playing and jumping!) Love, Deb and Emmie

Re: Izabella & Sadie update
I am just pleased it is over and done with. She was not the best patient that's for sure. She was far more dramatic than any of my Westie girls. But as the breeder said she is the 'wild child'.

Re: Izabella & Sadie update
So nice to see your post and also see your beautiful girls!! Sadie is gorgeous and gets my POW vote. :-) Big sis Izzy does look like she is enjoying some rest..a little break from playtime. Can't believe Sadie's already eight months old. Time flies! Good that her spay went well. Hope you can post after grooming day. Your groomer does such a great job I'm sure she can sort out Mollie to look lovely.
Hugs Sandra & Master Gradyxox
