Plum pits
Hi Guys! I've missed you a lot, mammy has big exams so she was too stressed to be online, she's nearly finished though which is great cos I'll be getting loads of kisses and walks...today she's angry at me and sort of worried, I found a plum pit in the trash and I ate it, am I going to be ok? Thanks guys! Woofs and licks all round xx

Re: Plum pits
Hmm no, for some strange reason any vet services in a 2 hour radius doesn't open on Sundays or Monday! And mom has no car so she's really getting upset, love Bonnie xx

Re: Plum pits
I know that pits and seeds contain cyanide and that can be a danger. It can also cause an intestinal blockage. I feel that finding a vet that is open would be pretty important. My thoughts - good luck. Jennifer http://www.petinsurance.com/healthzone/pet-articles/pet-health-toxins/Toxic-Food-Guide-for-Pets.aspx

Re: Plum pits
Bonnie I have not had any experience with plum pits but I did try googling Plum Pits and Dogs and there is a lot of information out there. The Poodle Form I thought had a lot of good information. Apparently the biggest problem is possible obstruction. I would read this it is informative and check in with a Vet as soon as you can. Louise

Hi guys, it's Bonnie! I'm feeling much better and nature did it's job and got rid of the nasty plum pit from my belly, I was feeling a bit groggy but I'm back to my usual mischievous self but i think I'll avoid plum puts from now on...although I did like all te extra attention and cuddles, love, kisses and licks, Bonnie x
