Please say a prayer.......
for my friend, Linda. She and her husband had a beautiful little Yorkie named Rascal. He never met a person he didn't like and would gently nibble on your ear if you were holding him. Linda picked Rascal up from his grooming session today--the groomer lives on top of a very steep hill. The brakes gave out in her car and she hit a tree. She's very stoved up and dear little Rascal was killed when the car hit a tree. I just can't stop crying.....he was such a special little dog, and this didn't have to happen..........Please, please, don't let your precious furbabies sit on the seat without being restrained. It's too late for Rascal--and Linda will always blame herself for letting him sit up front with her. Love, Deb and Kelsie, my Angel Girl

Re: Please say a prayer.......
That is a very sad story but here in New Jersey they just passed a law. Dogs must be restrained when they are traveling in a car This is for the safety of the driver and the dog. I always put my dogs in the rear seat and tie their leashes to the seat belt. I was always afraid that if I had to brake quickly, a dog could go flying through the windshield..

Oh no! How very sad! Our thoughts and prayers are with Rascal and his family! Reilly gets strapped in his car seat on the back seat. It really makes me sad to read such a devastating story! It must be heartbreaking for them!

Re: Please say a prayer.......
How awful that is a real tragedy. That poor little dog. Ours are in the seats in the back all the time they are not allowed to sit in the front. Feel terrible for your friend Deb . Wonder why her brakes did not work and if any of you have brakes that fail use the brakes like when you are parked on a hill.Your friend must feel so terrible. How sad. Hugs & love, Moshe,Levi and Yoka
