How wonderful to have four rescued Cairns. You are an angel! I have a sister named Edy who not only looks like Annie but acts just like her too! My mom had my trainer come to our house twice just to deal with Edy. She now shares her toys more often and doesn't growl at everyone who touches her when we all go to sleep at might in Mom's bed. It was a long road, but she is getting nicer. I am only six months old. Although I came here when I was 8 weeks, it has taken this long for Edy to learn to share. I wonder if they are from the same litter! Mom got her from a farm in Malta, Illinois. Take care of all of your babies. I have four Cairns in my family too. You can see us on our Web site. What a joy to read about your babies. I was lucky enough to find Megan, my Cairn, in 1993. She was a year old. Had 3 previous owners and a long list of bad behavior. I rescued her from certain death at the Animal Shelter. She soon turned into a perfect lady.

I am an "adopted" mom--Hannah came from the Westie Rescue of Missouri and has added quite a bit of spark to our lives. She has taken it upon herself to "pester" Molly and to become the new Queen of the house. Molly takes a good bit from Hannah and then watch out...it is pay back time!!!! Thank goodness there are good people to rescue these darling little dog children.

I have adopted Hannah from the Westie Rescue of Missouri. She is a cairn and now is Molly's little sister. I am so glad there are people with hearts of gold to become adopted parents for these adorablet little terriers!!!

I loved the stories of your little 4 legged kids. We have a Cairn, from a pet shop, her name is Molly Rose and she was 4 years old last April. We have been very lucky with her, as she has had a healthy life. We also have a Westie, his name is MyLadd, called Laddie, came from local breeder, and he was 7 in Septeber. He is a doll. We just love our little kids, as we call them and they sure do make our retired years a joy. Donna

What beautiful Cairns! I just love the cute names you picked out for them. I adopted my Cairn, Monique, from an animal shelter as well. She was already over five, we still don't know how old she is.
